MCAP Action Index Initial Findings

In the coming year the Mediterranean Climate Action Partnership (MCAP) is conducting an Action Index, a comparative, action-focused stocktake of what MCAP member regions, which represent subnational and regional governments in Mediterranean bioregions across five continents, are doing to build resilience to three critical climate challenges for their climate type- drought, wildfire, and extreme heat. The action index will complement the delivery and acceleration of projects across member regions. It will inform the MCAP annual convening, technical exchanges and delivery collaboration between members. The stock take will consider a set of key strategies and their associated action and implementation plans. This briefing offers a snapshot of preliminary findings of the MCAP Action Index.
